MERRY CHRISTMAS!
We didn't cover much in last nights meeting. We did a few spotlights and then just did our White Elephant Gift Exchange. I'm not sure what sort of gifts were given on the 3rd Floor but, for a look at what the 4th did, check out the poster hanging in the hall by 401... We sure love our Sam!

* December 8th CAL Christmas Party! Hor D'oeuvres will be at 5:30 and Kurt Bestor Concert at 7! We even get to dress up a bit! YOU MUST RSVP TO YOUR RL BEFORE THANKSGIVING!

Sorry about last week, I have been having trouble with the internet! Here is what happened last night!

* November Social--Thanksgiving Dinner November 20th 6 PM @ LDS Church Building on 800 S. (Same as Halloween Social). Each room was given an assignment here they are:
Mashed Potatoes (enough for 15): 303, 310, 401, 404
Gravy (enough for 20): 309, 407, 410
Stuffing (enough for 15): 302, 308, 405, 409
Salads (enough for 20): 301, 402, 408

Last night's meeting was fun as all 72 students (minus 4 that missed) crammed into one room. We would like to congratulate Jay and Kara on having a beautiful baby boy!

*Laruen Horito & Mike Kitto--Announced passing out popcorn to market the Mastermind, sign-ups went around. You can talk to them to help out, 402 (Lauren) or 309 (Mike).
*Andrea Peterson--Do a Etiquette Dinner on November 7th. $15 for 1 or $25 for 2. See her if interested (301).
*Carlee Johnson--Announced Conference Sign-Ups. This is MANDATORY!! If you haven't signed-up you better! You will get your assignment from her next Sunday. Also, bring pictures of yourselves and PLPs next week for her decorations. You can e-mail them as well.

WAYS TO GET HOURS:

· Troy—UVU Recruiting Ambassador. Go around to high schools and recruit students to come to UVU. They have parties, activities, half-time shows, and they will pay your gas!

· Richard Doxey—Announced Service Learning Hours, got many sign-ups. Retreat on Friday 3-7 PM in Library.

· Aimee Jo—Announced Why Try Training 11^th & 12^th from 9 AM-4PM.

· Kristina—Announced Club Rush. 10^th & 11^th in Quad from 10 AM-2 PM. Come help anytime you can!

Interviews & Self-Evaluations

It is time for our first interviews!!
*Make sure you come sign-up on your RL's door. (Don't sign-up unless you are going to show!)
*Bring your binder, all ready to be checked.
*Also, please fill out our first month's Self-Evaluations. There is a link at the bottom right of this page, for you to print it off. Bring it to your interview or the next Sunday night meeting (whichever is sooner). These will always be due to your RL, the first Sunday of the month (unless directed by RL). This month is of course an exception being we just started school 3 weeks ago.
