Sunday Night's Meeting

Last night's meeting was fun as all 72 students (minus 4 that missed) crammed into one room. We would like to congratulate Jay and Kara on having a beautiful baby boy!

October 7th--Leadership Conference--Make sure you have signed-up, if not talk to Carlee Johnson in the office.
October 19th--No Sunday Meeting (Fall Break is the week before)
October 20th--Presidential Lunch

*Turn in your Monthly Evaluations! NOW! To Chelsea (don't bother Jay)
*Laruen Horito & Mike Kitto--Announced passing out popcorn to market the Mastermind, sign-ups went around. You can talk to them to help out, 402 (Lauren) or 309 (Mike).
*Andrea Peterson--Do a Etiquette Dinner on November 7th. $15 for 1 or $25 for 2. See her if interested (301).
*Carlee Johnson--Announced Conference Sign-Ups. This is MANDATORY!! If you haven't signed-up you better! You will get your assignment from her next Sunday. Also, bring pictures of yourselves and PLPs next week for her decorations. You can e-mail them as well.

· Shayln Schumann—Home & Remodeling Expo, needs helpers scooping ice-cream. Pays $8 per hour.

· Megan Fluckiger—Leadership Experience Hours: Kids on the Move. Babysitting disabled children Tuesday and Thursday nights.

· Information Sheets—each student filled out a information sheet with Emergency Contact Information on it.

· Collect Roommate Rule Sheets—I collected most rules, to make copies and turn it back to them

· September Activity—301, 302, 303 are in charge.

· Check Contact sheet/ Update if needed—I passed around contact list to check for any updates. I will correct it and pass it out to the students.

· Sign-up for Interviews—On my door.

WAYS TO GET HOURS:

· Troy—UVU Recruiting Ambassador. Go around to high schools and recruit students to come to UVU. They have parties, activities, half-time shows, and they will pay your gas!

· Richard Doxey—Announced Service Learning Hours, got many sign-ups. Retreat on Friday 3-7 PM in Library.

· Aimee Jo—Announced Why Try Training 11^th & 12^th from 9 AM-4PM.

· Kristina—Announced Club Rush. 10^th & 11^th in Quad from 10 AM-2 PM. Come help anytime you can!

Interviews & Self-Evaluations

It is time for our first interviews!!
*Make sure you come sign-up on your RL's door. (Don't sign-up unless you are going to show!)
*Bring your binder, all ready to be checked.
*Also, please fill out our first month's Self-Evaluations. There is a link at the bottom right of this page, for you to print it off. Bring it to your interview or the next Sunday night meeting (whichever is sooner). These will always be due to your RL, the first Sunday of the month (unless directed by RL). This month is of course an exception being we just started school 3 weeks ago.
